I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Atholl Arms, soaking in the warm ambiance and culinary experiences. Overlooking the River Tay from Room 10 was a treat, and the evenings spent in the lounge, sharing stories over Malbec with fellow travelers, felt charmingly intimate. The restaurant's view of the misty trees was impressive, but the menu truly stole the show. Breakfast, featuring fresh fruit salad paired with yogurt, set the right tone for the day. I opted for dinner at the Z Bar & Bistro, where the atmosphere was cozy, although the lamb steak on my second night was a touch chewy. Bringing my dog along was a bonus; he had his own little welcome pack, and we were made to feel comfortable. The location is excellent, with easy access to beautiful woodland walks, making this hotel a great spot for both dining and outdoor adventures.
